- Download the Microsoft Office Compatibilty Pack if you run an earlier version of Microsoft Office 2007 from home, so documents created in Office 2007 can be opened.
We
are getting close to the limit for the size of our district email database
with the current version of the software we have. Please take a few
minutes to go through your mail and delete unneeded mail. Clean up the
following folders: Inbox, Sent Items, and Junk Email. Remember to
empty your Deleted Items folder after your cleanup.
Filter Requests
The web filter is designed to block inappropriate material on the internet from district use. Unfortunately, the filter may block educational resources. When this happens, please email Jim Manley to request to access web sites blocked from the filter. Know that more information may be necessary to unblock the web site for approval.
In the message of the email, inlcude the following:
- Web address to the web site you'd like to access
- Educational rationale for accessing the site
- Copy "cc" your building administrator in the email message
Summer Cleanup
Save
your files on the network, which is also referred to your W:drive, instead
of My Documents. Summer cleanup involves clearing all files from the
computer, including those files stored in My Documents. Please back-up
your files to a memory stick, or other external devices.
