32nd Annual College & High School Photography Contest

Congratulations to Emily Milas, Miranda Hight and Alexa Tovsen for being selected as finalists in the 32nd Annual College & High School Photography Contest, co-sponsered by Nikon. Over 18,000 photographs were entered from around the world. Their work will be published and the book distributed to college libraies and instructors fo photogtaphy, art and graiphic design. Good Luck Ladies!!


GAPP

 GAPP (German American Partnership Program) is a school-to-school exchange program that pairs an American school and a German school to give students the opportunity to visits each other’s schools and to experience each other’s cultures by experiencing the lives of their families and others in their community. Open to current German Students.

Thursday, February 9:  F.A.I.R. presentation in the Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, February 13:  PKMS 8th Grade registration/EXPLORE night in the Auditorium at 6:45 p.m.
Wednesday, February 15:  Jazz Band Concert in the Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

National Career Readiness Certificate

The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is an industry-recognized, portable, evidence-based credential that certifies essential skills needed for workplace success.

WorkKeys assessments measure “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. Test questions are based on situations in the everyday work world.

The following students have earned a Platinum Certificate: Matthew Kreczmer, Kevin Maisto and Laura Thompson
