Mr. Conro’s Last
Basketball Game

Mr. Jim Conro, CHS math teacher, has run the clock for basketball games for the last 39 years, totaling more than 1,000 games,  His last game was Wednesday, February 22, 2012.  Jim will be retiring at the end of this school year.  The crowd gave Mr. Conro a standing ovation and the annouoncer Mark Einwich and Mr. Gerts honored Mr. Conro before the game at center court.


CHS staff member invited to attend World Leader’s Forum CHS Counselor Jon Young represented the high school on April 13th at Judson University’s inaugural World Leader’s Forum, which featured a keynote speech by former President George W. Bush. Funds raised at the forum are being dedicated to the establishment of an Entrepreneurial Studies major at Judson. Mr. Young was among a small group of area high school counselors who were invited as VIP’s to the forum, which was attended by many area business, political, and educational leaders.
