Students, we will again run 4-minute passing periods next week.  Students are expected to be in classes on time and the teachers’ classroom attendance policies will be in effect.  Think about the best routes to your classes and when you can carry books for more than one class.”

 

Seniors:  We will be handing out cap and gowns in the Commons on Monday the 21st, Tuesday the 22nd and Wednesday the 23rd between 7:30 – 7:55 ONLY!   Please bring your $40 for senior fees at this time when you pick up your gowns.

 

Attention Seniors:  The next list for exams is in teacher mailboxs and covers Semester 2 through May 15, 2012.  Updated lists will continue through May 23rd.

 

Hey Seniors!  What are you doing after high school?  Show us on Monday, May 21st by wearing some attire that represents the college, military service, or career you will be attending next year!  WOOH!  Class of 2012.

 

Come see your fellow classmates' talent!  The Writers Club will be selling their literary magazine in the commons at 7:30am the week of May 14-18 for the low price of $3.00.  The magazine features creative writing and art work supplied by Writers Club, Art Club, and other students. 

 

MEETINGS  

Bass Kickers fishing trip is cancelled for Today.  The activity bus is not available.

 

Computer Club will meet today after school in the CAD Lab for the last meeting of the year.

 

German Honor Society will meet on Monday after school for election.  German club meet this Friday afternoon.  GAPP exchange paperwork is due on Friday, May 18th.

 

Class of 2013 senior officers:  There will be a meeting on May 23rd in Mrs. Basak’s room 135.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Basak.  Attendance is mandatory.

 

SPORTS

Attention Boys Track athletes competing at the Sectional today, you get out at 2:00 today, don't be late!


All other Track athletes, there will be a uniform turn in tomorrow after school in the commons!
 

All Senior athletes are eligible to vote for Athlete of the Year.  Stop in the athletic office and vote for your choice of Athlete of the Year for the Class of 2012.

 

GUIDANCE

Attention any Junior planning to re-take the ACT in the Fall – do you need some extra preparation before you re-take the ACT? If so, Elgin Community College is offering an ACT test preparation course that will run from July 31st  through August 9th. This class will include a pre-test on July 24th and a post-test on August 10th. Cost of the class is $329. You must register by July 18th . Registration should be done online at www.elgin.edu and looking under “Non-credit classes.” If you have any questions, please see your counselor.
