District Goals
Goal #1: Develop aligned curriculum with ample
resources
Objective:
- Maintain a culture of high expectations and continuous
improvement in each district school building.
- Focus on aligning school improvement plans with District
mission and goals.
- Hire and retain quality staff members.
- Provide appropriate tools and materials necessary to
fulfill the goal.
Goal #2: Support high student expectations
including learning and discipline
Objective:
- To promote high academic expectations
- To maintain a communal sense of mutual support and respect
- To focus on the individual child through smaller classes
- To retain strong parental involvement
Goal #3: Support communication that informs and
connects staff and stakeholders
Objective:
- To provide communication regarding individual school
calendars, events, activities, etc.
- To clearly communicate to the general public the
collective vision of District 301 to foster a well informed
electorate.
- To create and maintain a transparent atmosphere that
supports public awareness of the district’s financial
structure.
- To create and communicate to staff – District wide
calendar
Goal #4 Promote organizational trust through
integrity, reliability, fairness, caring, openness, competence and
loyalty.
Objective:
- Encourage open communication and interdependent working
among employees
- Invest in employees and stakeholders
- Treat employees/staff in an ethical and socially
responsible manner
- Appreciate staff contributions
Goal #5 Maintain care for student safety
Objective:
- Provide quality programs to meet the safety needs of all
students.
- Keep a safe school atmosphere with high student
expectations.
Goal #6: Develop and implement a transparent
fiscal plan while maintaining high quality educational programs.
Objective:
- To maximize alternative resources.
- To encourage commercial growth within the District.
- To practice financial responsibility with the target of a
balanced budget.
